Suave and sophisticated, Melbourne is famous for it’s galleries, cafes and sporting events. The city’s many hidden gems
are just waiting to discovered, and we make sure those new to Melbourne get to experience this amazing city’s real beauty.
For all Adventure for Life’s team building activities, we aim to showcase the destination in a dynamic fashion. For team building in Melbourne, this means getting into the cultural heart of the city, exploring the famous lane ways and traveling on bike, foot, tram, Harley Davison and sea kayak.
The Yarra River is a natural area for activities and it’s banks are lined with restaurants, public spaces, and unique venues like Federation Square. Other areas worth exploring are the Queen Victoria Market, Lygon Street, St Kilda, the Botanical Gardens, Docklands, and Melbourne’s famous sporting precinct. Each of these precincts has its’ own distinct style, with many guests commenting “The more time I spend in Melbourne, the more I love it”.
If time permits, delegates can also take day trips to the Regional Victoria to see spectacular sites, native wildlife, cultural centers, and exceptional wine producing areas.
Corporate adventure and leisure activities include: Street art tours, sea kayaking on the Yarra (at night or during the day), winery tours to one of Regional Victoria, delightful epicurean areas, city sights tours, laser skirmish, photography and art tours, world class sporting events, Great Ocean Road tours, Philip Island tours, cooking programs (best done in and around the Queen Victoria Markets).
Team buildings programs we recommend in Melbourne include:
- Wildgoose Chase along the Yarra and in the famous laneways.
- Mystery Days. This involves a bus, a secret itinerary, an incredible lunch, and 5 star entertainment.
- Street art tours and spray sessions
- Post conference travel to Regional Victoria for some R & R.
- Hi tech adventure race
- Resilience: prepare your team for change
- Corporate Orienteering (based on Melbourne’s amazing street art)
- Indoor team building programs
